I'm not a plumber, so please support me ... On my cane (here in Brookings, SD), I have two drain cleaning plugs on an adjacent wall that the original utility manufacturer (1992) did Are installed. The spark plug used is a type of square bass used to provide a grip key. Without a square overhang, the anchor will be slightly (0.25) away from the surface of the drywall. So if that square edge is finished, I can put a decorative plaque on it and make it more attractive in my finished room, right?!? I know they make flush plugs and I know they make panels that are used to cover flush plugs and the surrounding drywall. It looks like they are not used together because there is no threaded bushing to accommodate the plate attached to the plug (not to mention that I will definitely pierce the flat plug. What's wrong with me? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply! The link is very helpful! So you make screw caps to reach it. Why not sell in boxes? They sell panels, but only PVC (non-threaded) covers. Based on a conversation I had with a very insecure 20-year-old plumbing professional in Luz, he told me I should buy a PVC connector and just punch from behind. He did not believe that the South would trust him too much, so the question. The next question is, is there a link to the same link you provided, except that it comes with panels that can be painted to match the color of the wall? That would be amazing !!! They told me yes. By the way, this is a 2 inch tube.
Check with your painter. I have seen many of them, but I doubt that standard latex will stick to them. My paint provider gave me a pint of paint which they think will stick to any material including steel. But it costs CD 30 CDN.
