Does anyone know what men mean ...? 3
It's like Italian-American colloquialism. I heard about it in The Supranus, and read about it somewhere on the Internet ... but there is no answer on the wiki or the civic dictionary.
Maybe Mogadin? Really strikes in the dark, fool!
For Americans, your Italian-American language is not Italian. This is not an insult or an accusation in any way. It is used in the same way as Amish: Amish except English.
Madison is an American dialect. This is not a very good term, often used as a weird explanation.
My wife's parents and my older sister are from Italy and she was born in the United States. They all speak Italian in their family. You use the masculine term as a ridiculous term for Italian Americans who behave in an exaggerated and stereotyped manner. True Italians do not behave like this in Italy, and my wife and sister are ashamed to say to a man who acts like a soprano. Or they will just speak bad in Italian)
A man belongs to the Italians just as a good man belongs to the Jews
If you are not Italian then you are a man. It's not bad, but it's not Italian either.
