Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan Remote

Problems with Harbor Breeze Remote Ceiling Fans?

I called them and they sent me a new remote and receiver.

And no ... this is the only fan / remote light in use.

I bought and installed these two fans in the last weekend of June, both remotely ■■■■. We tested the battery, but it doesn't work. When we found out that replacing the batteries would not work, my husband (an electronics technician at a large global electronics manufacturer) disassembled the remote and found that the circuit board was broken. I tried to replace the remote with a loose one, but they contradicted my claim that the device was faulty, so I had to buy a new remote for $ 25!

Does anyone have the same problem with Harbor Breeze ceiling fans and remote control?

We bought a 52-inch Triton ceiling fan from Loose (Model # 192900). This is a remote control fan / light combo set for lights and fan control. When I'm not used to it, the remote is on and the fan is on.

After our contractors installed it, it happened several times. The fan / light is in the master bedroom and is connected so the only way to turn it on or off is remote. We went in and the fan was on when we found out it was off. The second time we turn it off during ht and wake up in the middle of ht to turn it on. In that case, I just take the remote and turn it on or off.

We just got back from vacation and went to the bedroom to find that the fan was running at full speed. The small light behind the Harbor Breeze sign on the remote was also blinking. This will work if you press the button on the remote and it will turn off after a while, but the light stays on all the time. I had to press almost every button to turn it off and then remove the (new) battery. When I look, the remote is on and the fan is on for an hour.

I'm going to contact Loose today and see how I can get a new remote. Now I know that our contractors do not change the preset channels (frequency) of the transmitter and receiver. I thought someone close might have the same fan on the same frequency, but he didn't turn on the remote. I think the remote is broken.

Has anyone had a similar problem with a similar Harbor Breeze remote?

update

Yes, I replaced the remote control battery.

Like I said, our contractor installed it. But after looking at the instructions, the receiver is in the awning. I think that means that to try to change the frequency (which I don't think), I have to do everything but shoot the whole fan.

Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan Remote Control

Harbor Breeze. Remote control

Some questions:

1. Is the remote control receiver (on the fan) part of the fan / fan or is it a separate box on the roof?

2. New battery in remote control?

in regards to:

Buy a fan with drive chain.

If the remote is a separate box, the installation is theoretically against the NEC. Why? Because at the end you connect the remote receiver directly under the fan support and bring everything closer to the box where the cables run. Also, the cable from the remote control is not long enough to properly connect the connector on the roof bracket to the fan. I think I'll get a lot of arguments in my review, but a separate remote inbox basically weighs 1.3kg in a 1kg bag. Now, with the rover on the fan motor, you have a much better system. Either way, you have a problem that requires checking the condition of the battery or cable connection.

I just bought a nice double wide for my wife and I have two of them fans. A light bulb didn't work, a technique to fix the wire nut, so it was fixed. But I need to know that this box is full of long threads. I cut the cable, fixed the connection and it worked. The second fan does not work, but the light is on. I took it and found another box. I thought he would have a remote. The room has a 2.10 meter ceiling, for God's sake! Then the rover ends up in the trash. Considering that most of them have been installed by TSE who have little or no electrical work experience, why would they force you to install additional components there? Oh, and the fan hung from the old ceiling lamp, which wasn't enough to support the weight, so it was ready to fall off the ceiling.

I have a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan attached to a remote control light / fan unit. The remote control does not turn off the lights. Always check the fan at all positions. High, medium, slow and off, but not light off. What is the solution?

My problem is that the fan circuit board hears noise when I use the remote to turn on the light. The fan was a year old so I replaced it. But six months later, the replacement fan did exactly the same thing, but at least the light bulb did. I wouldn't buy a second Harbor Breeze remote control fan.

I also had a problem with the Harbor Breeze remote. I have a ceiling fan and light in the room. I stood there for an hour and saw a light shining from above. I went to do this and the remote control dimmer turned on and kept the light on and off. I had to fix the remote control ignition. The lights don't work anymore. The fan works just fine. We have some light in the room looking for a new remote.

I have a Santa Ana ceiling light / fan that I installed last August. The light went out, so I bought a new halogen bulb today and it still doesn't work. I have replaced the remote control battery, not yet. The red light goes on when I turn it on. I hear a beep when I turn on the wall switch, as I always do when it works. what I have to do ? Thank you for your help.

Possibly activated on your remote. I won't panic, but I will complain and buy a new one. Try to get out of the room and remove the battery. If you go back and the fan is still off, I'm sure it's just a faulty remote.

I have a computer problem in which the shift key is stuck, which is causing all kinds of confusion. I took it off until I got a Best Buy to fix it.

than me :)
